drakeonyouI second the shrimp, but to be honest, I would go without a meat based protein. The dish makes more sense with avocado or yellow squash than it does chicken or shrimp. Even asparagus would work, but the dish is complete without a traditional protein - the egg and cream/sour cream should satisfy the need for a meat based protein.

cs85b03I should clarify that the egg is in the spaghetti, not actually in the dish... At least if made that way.

drakeonyouShrimp or maybe scallops. If you're not in the mood for seafood, try chicken! I love lemon chicken made with fresh lemons & juices.
