The only thing you have to do is revert this site back to how it was a couple years ago. All you guys have done since is made the site worse. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if this site was a dead man walking. I don't know anyone that actually orders anything from here anymore.

Alex00322I used to check in daily for interesting things with the old design, but for whatever reason the only time I visit now is if I happen to see something in an email before I close it. I guess I should be glad I'm saving money, but I don't feel like I'm the audience for Drop any more.

Alex00322Everyone tells them this and I agree with it as well, but the thing is, it sounds like the reason you all liked it so much is the very reason they don't do it anymore -- that model favors the consumer more than it favors them. When you get all the good deals where everyone pools their buying power to get the best possible price, it essentially means they're working harder than their compatriots for a smaller margin and they all hate that these days, they won't put up with it for long. If that's the case, it doesn't matter how many people tell them 'hey, go back to the old unsucky Massdrop' - if the execs aren't banking what they believe they should bank that way, they'll never go back to it. It's hard to see a financial necessity for them to make this move, it certainly seems like they had money doing things the old way -- after all, they have money for rebranding and making new websites and even opening up a sideline in gambling. That didn't just fall from the sky. So they were making money and so they aren't broke yet. But that's just it, that's the problem in a nutshell. . The people who are making money already have most of the money in existence, they won't starve if they elect not to invest in a new factory making new stuff, so there's no need for them to do any particular deal. Whenever they want, they can walk away from the table.

kindjieDude, this is me EXACTLY. Same thing. I used to come back and check all the time. Now it's only if I see it in an email. They're slowly turning in to a mens sporting goods retail shop I guess.
