What, in your opinion, is the best brewing method in terms of general taste, minimal brew time, and minimal clean up?
ie french press: mild taste, 4min, 1min unscrew and scrub

wafflehighAeroPress.
My standard recipe is 24g med-fine grind in an inverted AeroPress Wit the plunger at the lowest edge of the 4 circle. Add water at 200 degrees to cover, bloom 30s, add water to fill half the remaining space, stir, brew 60s, add water to near the top, stir 10x, cap, swirl, flip, plunge.
Cleanup is just popping out the puck and a quick swish of water.
It sounds complicated but it’s a fast way to get a great cup of coffee in the office. No more forgetting about that French press and coming back an hour later to cold and bitter coffee.

irodoramaticI prefer the standard method, but with a paper filter using the inverted method, the AeroPress allows you to get French Press fullness without the bad cholesterol-rich oils... Or swap in a metal filter and it's a French Press with the oils, but without the messy cleanup.

irodoramaticI have a first gen of this http://amzn.to/2y3zCdr
So, I wake up, turn it on, take a shower and get ready for my day. Grinding (by weight with a scale) takes about 15 seconds, extraction of a double espresso takes 26-30 seconds. I either drink that, or will add 4-6oz of water for an Americano.
Cleanup is knocking the puck out of the portafilter, rinsing with water and turning machine off. Granted, it's not the cheapest setup but it's been my go-to for nearly a decade so I'd say it's paid itself off nicely

wafflehighPersonally I really love my V60 dripper (or any pour-over in theory), produces a clean tasty cup and works well with a variety of roasts of coffee (imo). Just takes a couple minutes to pour and then you drop the filter in the trash, rinse/wipe the cone for a few seconds under water, and enjoy.

wafflehighI use a cheap Black&Decker Brew N Go, it makes 1 cup at a time, #2 cone filters for quick clean up. The machine doesn't matter it's the beans that make a coffee good.

irodoramaticI usually do a simple recipe with my AeroPress as I don't have the motivation to measure everything out but it tastes so good.
I do a medium-fine grind with my hand bur grinder. I add one scoop to the AeroPress after wetting the filter with cold water. I then add hot water to the number 2 and sitr for 10 seconds. Then let sit for 20 seconds. Then add water to the number 4 and stir for 10 seconds. Place plunger just on top so to block air and keep liquid from escaping. Then let sit for 25 seconds. Then plunge down all the way with medium force.
Simple, and delicious!
