I love a stronger cup of coffee! The problem I have right now is I never know how finely ground my beans are. Is there a good way to get consistency when grinding my coffee beans?

AshBishopBest bet is a conical burr grinder for consistency in your grind. Most are adjustable as well so once you get it how you like it, you can keep it there.

AshBishopTo add to the previous answer, it's not necessary to spend hundreds on an electric burr grinder for a consistent grind. I have a manual grinder that gives a very consistent grind and is pretty finely adjustable - costs around $30.

coleamOh yeah, to note for @AshBishop as well, a solid manual grinder is the way to go, look to spend ~$30 for it. Some even say its better than a fancy electric one, since the electric one's heat up the beans when they're going fast.

coleamI agree. I use a hand operated burr grinder when camping and love it!

AngryAccountantConical Burr is good but there is a reason most high end grinders use large flat burrs. It all depends on the needs and budget. I used a manual for quite a while and they work well but are inconvenient.
