What water boiler/kettle do you use for coffee making? I have a zojirushi water boiler that is now one of my favourite kitchen appliances. :)

TesshanI'm currently using Hario's Electric Kettle, but I'm waiting on one of the new Stagg EKGs from Fellow. I haven't had a chance to try brewing with one yet, but holy heck those things are sexy.

TesshanI use the Bonavita 1L Variable Temp (BV382510V). Dead reliable - can't beat it.

TesshanI used an electric kettle without any temperature settings for years and just set it out with the lid open for 5min to let the temperature go down from 212 degrees to something more reasonable. I had been waiting on MassDrop to sell the 1.7L Bonavita, which they did recently but this summer I happened to find a Breville Temp Select at Home Goods for just $50, normally $100. It does a really nice job and has settings for 175, 195, 200, 205 and 212 degrees.

fogelsongIn the past I as well just used a normal kettle but when it broke I decided to invest in the zojirushi. Love the fact that the water is at a set temperature all day long for me to have coffee and tea.

Dr.McCoyI'm all in on Dr. McCoy's choice as well, I have two of them. The 1.7 on massdrop is good but I find it's important to have finer control when pouring so I went with the lower weight option (especially since I never need to heat 1.7L for coffee.
