In the THICK of it

more_vert
I've noticed a few of the watches I've picked up lately seem to be frankly, some what less than svelte--and in some cases, down right porky!

I'm referring to case thickness, of course and unless you part of the "thin-is-in crowd" and happen to own one of those wimpy little Piaget Altiplano 910Ps, you may have noticed your watches gaining on you too. Which begs the two questions: What are your thickest and thinest watches? A few of my top contenders:
  • Straton Daily Driver: 13.92mm
  • Heimdallr Tuna: 15.42mm
  • Makara Sea Turtle: 17.03mm (in fairness that's partially the domed crystal)
And my thinest? Sorry--I have to confess I don't actually own a watch that could even charitably be categorized as thin. Maybe I should buy a Skagen? Probably not. So, what have you got--Triple Whoppers with cheese, or Thin-Crust?

eARStanleyThat shot certainly highlights the slight variation between the two. You should wear them now and then--what the hell, right?!

Two of my thickest are: Frederique Constant Peking to Paris @ 15mm Seiko SSC613P1 @ 13.8 mm My watches are mostly on the thicker side (lot of divers). I do have a skagen and it's my thinnest. :)
