Way to configure the ALT/DROP to lights up as a single key is pressed down?

I have recently seen many keyboards with a vibrant color preset setting for the keys to spread across the keyboard with color(s). Would there be any way to configure this the same way on the Alt or Drop using either GMK software or the online configuration? I'm sort of new to all the configs and setups for keyboards so all help is appreciated. Thanks

@MatthewMingus Current supported functionality in our web configurator is changing LED colors based on active layer. If you want something more-reactive, you can check out what is built into QMK's RGB matrix system: https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/blob/master/keyboards/massdrop/alt/keymaps/default/keymap.c You'll need to set up QMK and build the default ALT keymap to use RGB matrix instead of our system: make massdrop/alt:default

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".

ALT V2 not detected with Drop Keyboard Configurator

Hi, This is my first non-mac keyboard. I was under the impression that this would work out of box with with mac desktop however I am having issues getting the ALT V2 detected with the keyboard configurator software. The keyboard is plugged in and powered on. Apologies if this is very basic or if I have used incorrect language describing my issue, I don't have experience with this. Thank you

Upgrading Keyboard
