Want to know what song(s) you guys listen to when breaking in new headphones. Or in other words, what song is your absolute go-to when you get those new cans, IEMs or headphones? I'm just getting into higher-end gear myself so I'd love some recommendations. That, and branching out with music is always good. Spotify Playlist of all the suggested songs:

danpanIf you don’t mind me asking; how did you do it? Manually? I have to sync playlists across Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Music, and any tools to assist would be wonderful!

I still find that Spotify is a great place to explore music, and I can download Spotify to MP3 without Premium. And I can barely tell the difference between Spotify and Tidal, so yeah Spotify still the best choice.

Sketchy - ✓ Takes a licensed file that you've downloaded, sometimes a steamed version. Plays back the file at 10X, 20X speed or more (the process is often done at a centralized farm) ✓ Basically the equivalent of taking your audio line-out, plugging into line-in and playing the source really fast and re-records the music at the same rate to a lossy format with lots of compression. ✓ At the minimum, you're starting out with a digital file of some format, then it's decoded to an analog signal, played back and recorded at the same really fast-rate, then re-encoded in any number of popular formats, no longer with DRM attached, and it doesn't really matter if you have the option of 320VBR or CBR MP3 - a LOT is left out during this "process" or service. It's full of holes, but might sound perfectly fine in your car or even through a dedicated player. It's hard to "miss" something you've never heard before. ✓** **Source: 25+ years ago working part-time and at a moderately high-end AV store. I was a full-time undergrad student working to support my habit - back then, entry-level was Denon, Citation by HK, B&K Components to Mark Levinson, McIntosh, Carver - B&W, NHT, Thiel, Snell, Magnepan, what great memories! A plain and simple fact: some just can't discern - "Is It Live or Is It Memorex?" That's 100% OK, and now in my mid-fifties, I'd probably have to fake the ability to answer that question with my "old" ears.✓✓
BowRatThanks Bowrat! I found out that Apple’s iTunes app has a built-in feature to convert my DRM free tracks to MP3. Works well enough for my needs :) I hope you’re still enjoying your ears!
