Has any body ever actually tried to do a turducken for Thanksgiving? If you did how did it turn out?

GentSykeI've not. I plan on it soon though. Might want to try a dry run in like, March so we don't disappoint for Thanksgiving if something goes wrong.

GentSykeNever tried, never wanted to. If you want a smaller-scale challenge you could always do a whole stuffed duck or chicken. Procuring and timing would be difficult. Would need a lot of fridge space to defrost the turkey and the duck. Chicken you can usually get fresh.
The actual execution doesn't seem too difficult, assuming you know how to debone poultry whole. But by the time you've deboned all three, you'll have become an expert.
Cooking, I would try sous vide so the turkey doesn't overcook, then finish it in the oven or with a torch. TBH, having the least fatty meat on the outside always made the concept sound unappetizing to me.
