Anyone have any good meat-free and nut-free potluck ideas? A few people in my group have food allergies.

WoatOne of my favorites was a stuffed butternut squash recipe with wild rice. Really good flavor, and not something my family typically makes.

WoatBanana pudding! You can use homemade or just use a mix and it will be amazing. Layer pudding with vanilla wafers and sliced bananas - very important that it rest overnight in the fridge. Bring whipped cream for on top. Also easy is a cheesecake. Five 8 oz packages of room temperature cream cheese, 3/4 cup white sugar, 2 tsps vanilla, 5 eggs. Using a stand-up mixer, mix up cream cheese and sugar for 25 minutes. I am not kidding. Listen to some music or do something else; this will make the most impossible delicious and creamy cheesecake in the world. Do NOT do this with eggs in; if you've already put in the eggs, forget this part and just mix it regularly; you don't want tough eggs. After mixing cream cheese and sugar for 25 minutes, add eggs, evaporated milk, and vanilla. If you're feeling creative, brush a little eggwash on crust edge and sprinkle on granulated sugar for a little treat at the end of the pie slice! Can just brush on milk or just sprinkle on sugar in a pinch.
