Topping DX3 Pro, please recommend a longer USB cable

more_vert
I had the Topping Dx3 Pro, version 1. It's very picky about the length or quality of the USB cable. The factory cable works fine, but too short for my need. I tried Amazonbasic, Monoprice and Mediabridge 6 feet cables in the under $10 range, but none worked. Did you guys tried a 6 feet to 10 feet cable that worked? I want to keep the price under $20.

I found out that the factory USB cable is defective. One of the pin on the B connector is taller than the other pin, and it caused the corresponding female jack's connector spring to collapse. Thus only the faulty connector can make contact, and no other good cables can work. I may have to use a USB extender to get a working long cable.

A very pragmatic cable, shielding is as important as the conductors... 20 bucks does not quite cut it... https://www.pangeaaudio.com/Pangea-Audio-Premier-SE-USB-cable USB is an analog cable,, trying to pass digital... Ref. (hate typing;) https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-x-airist-audio-r-2r-dac/talk/2423442
