What does it mean that this has a satin finish?

It means the blade is shiny polished. Not mirror finished tho. Nice knife. You'll like it.

It is the finish on the blade. A satin finish shows the bevels of the blade, showcasing the lines of the knife, while reducing its reflective glare. As opposed to a mirror finish which shows fingerprints and scratched readily, or a bead blast which has no glare. It is a very attractive knife. I am glad I bought it.

A satin finish on the blade is very fine lines. Like sanding marks that all line up.

Why is MassDrop suddenly asking a million dumb questions to have everyone else answer them? Shouldn't Drop have the "answers", and not the "questions"? Looks really lame.

A satin finish is a non-tumbled belt finish.
