Technically you want to wash them normally with wool-specific cleaner (if you use normal cleaner on these it really doesn't seem to make a difference in my experience) at low or medium temp and let them hang dry and they'll last forever (I rotate my 10 pairs for 5 years, I've no other socks - they still look new). You can save time by drying them at low temp for convince and lose a bit of life spawn (brother does this, they start showing some damage after about a year, probably will last 3-4 years I guess?) The only thing to avoid is to dry or wash at high heat. Note that in all cases that's way longer than typical cheap cotton socks.

My kids loves them and my wife says they are the best socks ever, I wouldn’t know since I only got to wear them once - don’t wash anything containing wool in hot water and always let it air dry. Sure, some brands/blends handles it better than others but, it’s the best and “safest” way to care for wool products that I’ve found both when in the field as well as at home.

Honestly they are pretty forgiving to everything except lint and high heat. They are lint magnets. You can turn them inside out to wash them, but let's be honest here, they are not exactly dress socks, so I don't care if they don't look brand new, I wear them for comfort, so I would rather have the lint on the outside than the inside.

I always turn my socks inside out before I wash them in cold water. This helps remove the fluff I don't like to get stuck between my toes. Sock jam!

Just use the washer and dryer like a normal sock. They shrink a bit the first time.

giamminUse cold water and use wool or delicate setting if your washer has it. Dry using gentle cycle or lay them on a towel and let them dry at room temp.

giamminThere’s no reason to wash these in anything but low temperature. Cotton whites need high temps to get the grime out. Colored wool/poly blends do not.

Throw mine in washer and dryer. It's been half a year and fine
