What does everyone think of a doubleshot TEX ADA keycap set?
I would really love to have a doubleshot TEX ADA keycap set and I was thinking that, if there is enough interest in the idea, that the community might be able to convince Drop to convince TEX that it is worth their time/money to produce it.
I purchased the Tex ADA keycap set through Massdrop during the last time the drop went live, and these keycaps are about as close to perfect as any keycaps that I have ever encountered, but the legends are lasered and I can see where that is already leading to irregularity in the colour of the legends. What I would really like is to have keycaps that are identical in every way, except that they would be doubleshot keycaps and, therefore, have legends that will last a lifetime. What does everyone else think about this?

Tex ADA as double shot PBT, including a NORDE set could just be my endgame.

So you want uniform keycap profiles like XDA or DSA that are either doubleshot ABS or dye-sub PBT?

Doubleshot PBT exists. Tai Hao makes the double shot PBT keycaps for the CTRL, ALT, and Shift boards from drop.
There are probably other sets available online

erickongIn that case, I honestly don't care. I have the TEX ADA keycap set and I love it. I don't really worry about keycap shine as much as most. I would be up for them being made out PBT or ABS. In my opinion, that part is entirely up to the community. I just don't want the white lettering on my beautiful keycaps getting dingy in appearance. Everything else about the keycaps as they are, the sound, the feel, the thickness, the font, and, of course, the profile, is perfect!

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".

ALT V2 not detected with Drop Keyboard Configurator
Hi, This is my first non-mac keyboard. I was under the impression that this would work out of box with with mac desktop however I am having issues getting the ALT V2 detected with the keyboard configurator software. The keyboard is plugged in and powered on. Apologies if this is very basic or if I have used incorrect language describing my issue, I don't have experience with this. Thank you

Upgrading Keyboard
