Today’s Wrist Check

more_vert
Today’s wrist check is my Aragon Divemaster 3 Model: A337YEL (part 2 of 2) A continuation from my previous wrist check (yesterday), this is a yellow version of the Divemaster 3 so the specifications are the same. If you browse through my wrist check posts you will come across two Invicta Grand Diver watches which I bought a long time ago. Although my Casio MDV102-1AV Sea "Marlin" Super Illuminator was kinda my first dive watch, I really didn’t get into dive watches until I picked up these Grand Diver’s....as a pair. Yes, plenty of people hate on Invicta but my two Grand Diver watches were nothing short of great! If you look past the unnecessarily bold branding around the case, the Grand Diver has many of the same features of all the other name brand divers. Features like the SII NH35A movement, 1000ft / 300m of WR, mineral crystal, screw-down crown, exhibition case back, and stainless steel everywhere. I’ve been selling off some of my watches and had plan to move my two Invicta’s along to a budding watch collector, but not until I found a pair of suitable replacements. My two NEW Aragon Divemaster 3’s are now the replacements. Similar in every way, my Divemaster 3’s definitely look the part right down to the yellow dial on the A337YEL and the full-dial lume on the white dial A337WHT. Additional features like a beautifully domed K1 Crystal which is said to have the scratch resistants of sapphire and the toughness of mineral, the repositioning of the screw-down crown to the 4 óClock position, and dual colors on the unidirectional bezel all help to bring my dive watch collection into alignment with my older pair of Aragon Divemaster's as well as my pair of Seiko Prospex divers. My trusty old Invicta Grand Divers marked a starting point in my diver collection years ago and I may keep them for that very reason. But for now my NEW Divemaster 3’s share the top spot in the diver category of my watch collection…..for the moment.  Make: Aragon Watch Model: Divemaster 3 #A337YEL Movement: Seiko SII NH35 w/hacking & hand winding Movement Complications: Date Case Size: 45mm Case Material: Stainless Steel (brushed) Case Back: Stainless Steel  (brushed / exhibition window) Crystal: K1 (Domed) Crown: Screw-Down / 4 óClock Position Dial: Yellow w/green lume markers & hands Bezel: Unidirectional Black & Yellow Bracelet: Stainless Steel (brushed) WR: 200-meters (660-feet)
