What is the difference between the Normal Gateron Switches and the Gateron Inks?

more_vert
I have been wondering about the differences between the normal gateron switches and the gateron inks considering the gateron inks are much more expensive than the standard ones.

Both are amazing options, looking at sound tests from the one amd only taeha types, milky have a deeper thocc than the inks, I would go with the milky cuz they are much cheaper and your not missing out on much if you get the inks instead of the milky, I'm going to post a pic of my 1st custom board on reddit on Christmas day. username is alex_tf_up
Housing on the Inks are slightly different, resulting in a deeper sound. Smoothness is subjective to the user and switch type but I believe boutique Gateron switches include "Inks" and "Zeal" switches. If normal, you mean the standard Yellows, Red, Blues, etc, I believe it's due to material and limited-ness, which batch the switches are manufactured and when. You can find plenty of reviews online depending on which switch you're interested in :)
