Legions of boards, PCBs galore; Over yonder lies the great mountain, of keycaps from lore. Troubled journey for certain, a triumph at final curtain. With so many good friends and more a stranger, he constructed great dreams and weathered much anger. Brasil to Italia, Deutschland and America. Hot keys in the day, Cooler still by night. All over the world in so many places a chance for new friends, and familiar faces; To pillage and plunder this great pile of splendor. Both bigger and better, the closet de Yannbeu: part deux That’s right folks, mark your calendars. December 26, 2019 at 6 AM PST: Yanbo’s Closet returns. And he’s been stashing things for quite awhile now. Almost 1000 unique projects stuffed in there to be more precise. Many of you who have participated in this before are probably thinking, “lordy, how will the checkout system even work with this?” To that I say, good news. Yanbo’s Closet is going to get its own unique page with an actual cart system much like the previous warehouse sale from earlier this year. Be sure to bookmark mechkeys.drop.com, or just remember it because it’s pretty easy. That’s it you ask?

Rule number 1: In order to checkout at that site, you will need a valid login to drop.com. If you made your email alksdjfi@lkasjdi.com and face rolled a similar password then I recommend figuring that out ahead of time. Rule number 2: A lot of these are limited to a very small quantity and there’s a chance that multiple people will manage to check out with the same item. In that case, it will be determined on a first past the finish line basis using payment confirmation time. This means there’s a small chance that part of your order will be refunded. Just a heads up. I predict things will be pure mayhem so I’m going to post a full list(stay tuned on that one) of what’s available here and you can browse ahead of the page going live. If you see something you want, then get your clicking finger ready because it probably won’t be there long. Rule number 3 The shipping address validation system is not so good. If you’re international here’s the deal, you can only use base alpha numerics. A-Z, 0-9. No accents, no characters, nada. If you try to use anything other than those, then you’ll be met with the very unhelpful error message, “Shipping not available for the selected address” that we can’t fix right now. Additionally, 30 character limits per line and a 20 character limit for city. So use the address that a bunch of American’s could figure out. Sorry everyone. Rule number 4? We got some bonus stuff that won’t be sold for one reason or another. This ranges from keychain switch testers to full keyboard kits. We’re throwing those things into random orders so don’t be shocked if you get something extra. Or do be shocked. It’ll be more fun that way. Bonus: There’s no discussion system over at mechkeys.drop.com so some of us will be sitting in Discord where you can yell at us in real time. Same rules as the site. I just received a UPS notification from Drop Closet stating I have a shipment coming in? I didn't order anything recently. When I look at the order sheet it just has stock numbers and states Yanbo-1, 2, or 3 and shows $0 next to it.

Gui0312You're not alone I just got the same message today. I'd assume it's some random goodies for those that bought (though maybe not everyone who purchased does). Personally bought the BKD Mt. Fuji Wood & Resin Artisan Keycap SA (as the other profile was purchased the moment I decided to buy it at work lol). Haven't slapped it on yet as I'm still waiting on a nice keyboard to use it with as all I have currently is a Razer BlackWidow I got on sale years ago that seems to have slightly thicker stems and I didn't want to risk damaging the cap.

Gui0312Yeah this happened to me too. I had no idea what four items I was getting until it arrived. They sent for free: a RAMA WORKS M10-B, a keycap tray, some box switches, and a pcb (17 Key KP V4.0 printed on the board) for the NPKC 17 Switch Tester.

I bought the TAI-HAO MIAMI PBT DOUBLESHOT KEYCAP SET (https://mechkeys.drop.com/collections/keycap-sets/products/tai-hao-miami-pbt-doubleshot-keycap-set-58213) and received only a spacebar. Either the website is terribly misleading or my delivery was incomplete. I also emailed. Order number is: DROP-2452-C EDIT: Got a refund so all is good now.

Well after receiving my mechcables pulse v2 cable I can report that the cable is faulty. Flickers the light strip on my CTRL HP constantly like if it is shorting out. I know this is all final sale but, this item is clearly defective and I would like a refund.

*Help* Screw in stabilizers not fitting in Dropshift V2 keyboard

I'm trying to build a mechanical keyboard with screw in stabilizers, I've build some mechanical keyboards with click-in stabilizers, never with screw in. Somehow one of the pins of the metal top-part collides with the screw in stabilizer of the numpad "enter key". I already tried grinding of a bit of the pin that collides with the stabilizer, but unfortunately I can't make it fit/close properly. You can see that the pin of the toppart leaves a mark on the bottompart of the stabilizer, see picture 2. What am I missing? Using Durock V2 in a Dropshift fullsize V2. See pictures below, thanks in advance!

Want to build a Clicky Mech Keyboard. Where to begin?

Hello all. Am brand new to the idea of building my own keyboard. Have not a clue where to begin this process. I am a Sim Game enthusiast. American Truck Sim, DCS Flight Sim and goes from there. Need some real help on where to start for making my own Full Size, Clickey Mechanical KB. I want each key to have its own backlighting. Are there keys that are better than others for this? Is there a great spot on site for a person who has never even taken a keyboard apart? Let alone fixed or built one? I would like it to fit my theme of Red and Black. Yet maybe have the option of changing things up a bit. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all kindly, Durazell
