Brand New HHKB on Dec 10, 2019

more_vert
Recently, PFU has released a set of brand new HHKB professional series. I’m very interested in the hybrid model. I wish Drop would sell the keyboard. https://www.pfu.fujitsu.com/direct/hhkb/detail_pd-kb800ws.html What do you think of that?

I have the a HHKB Pro and HHKB Bluetooth and I the BT version feels different. I'm thinking it's a type S. The only annoying part of the BT version is that it only works through BT. It's not much of a problem even using Linux because it connects automatically once the system is booted after hitting any key as long it's not <Fn q> . A blue light will turn on and shortly shut off once the keyboard connects. I have it set up with multiple devices. Ipad, android phone, Linux laptop, Linux desktop.

AugustCanailleI believe the hybrid means you can connect it via the USB-C or Bluetooth.

CgironalasYes right, the hybrid models provide both ble 4.2 and usb-c together. One of the hybrid models has ’type-s’ as like the picture above.
