Digital Optical Cable, whats a good cable?

more_vert
Hi there, so I've been wanting to replace the old harman/kardon speakers that I've used for years now and I want to upgrade to a soundbar and subwoofer combo. Problem is, it doesn't come with the cable for optical audio. Whats a decent cable to buy? It would be going into a Topping D50s paired with a JDS Atom Amp.

A soundbar for stereo, two channel, music listening? Toslink was “invented” by Toshiba in the early 80’s, limited by hardware still in the audio resolution department; though still a solution for noisy situations. Glass is better than plastic if you go this route: https://www.amazon.com/Toslink-Glass-Digital-Audio-Highest/dp/B0017YUN3C/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=6+Ft.+Toslink+Glass+Digital+Audio+-+Highest+Quality+Cable&qid=1577796549&sr=8-1

Once you go optical, even for the antique Toslink, length is not a problem up to 5m, try to stay <2m, unless you use glass fiber; pick the length that works for the install and use glass.
