Why isn't there a Halo True/Clear switch drop?
These are supposed to be the most amazing tactile MX-style switches ever. Let's have a drop!

My guess is that MD wants to sell keyboards which generate a lot more revenue than sell a bunch of switches. After all, if they did a switch drop, per switch pricing can't be much higher than what the Hako switch sells for, given the similar genes, and their sales projections probably don't compare well against selling thousands of CTRL and ALT keyboards. Just a guess though!
I personally wasn't impressed with the Halo clear switches that came with my K-type. I sold it to a community member for $50, which at this point, regret given the high demand due to the popularity of the holy panda switches.

NorrisBHalo True is supposed to be similar to Topre in feel, but I've never used a Topre board so I can't comment on that. Halo Clears are similar to Cherry Clears in weight, but are smoother, and less wobbly. If you like Cherry Clears chances are you'll also like Halo Clears.

NorrisBLike a Cherry MX Clear, but the bump is higher and bigger. They feel like the best tacticle switches ever.

There was a falling out between Massdrop and Input Club regarding production and distribution rights to the switches. Long story short the partnership was dissolved so chances are you're not going to see these switches on Massdrop any time soon.
I:C (the designers of the switch) recently held a group buy on their store though, link here- https://kono.store/products/hako-mechanical-switches
The "Hako" switches are exactly the same as the Halo switches with the exception of the box style stem on them, which won't affect anything unless youre planning to physically modify the switch.
Hope this clears things up a bit.

ALT V2 not detected with Drop Keyboard Configurator
Hi, This is my first non-mac keyboard. I was under the impression that this would work out of box with with mac desktop however I am having issues getting the ALT V2 detected with the keyboard configurator software. The keyboard is plugged in and powered on. Apologies if this is very basic or if I have used incorrect language describing my issue, I don't have experience with this. Thank you
