Hi Fayne, is there any difference between Linsoul HC 08 and the stock cable? Is it worth to upgrade cable? Does it sound better?

Phuc_JacksonI’m not sure about sound quality, I didn’t bother using the stock cable at all. My primary reason for the Linsoul was balanced connectivity. I will say that the HC-08 is much more soft and supple. I wouldn’t say it is a required upgrade, but I’m happy with it. The Tripowin C8 and Zonnie are also good options for similar reasons.

FayneThank Fayne, i am considering about upgrading cable for my earphones, particularly the FDX1, but i do not know how much better it is, or expensive cables are just a gimmick

Yeah. JJ and EH are generally great in guitar amps, but have no place in any of my head or power amps (for anything other than rectifiers). If I must go new production, I'm all about Tung-Sol and Genalex. The 5670W is one of the better tubes GE produced; rugged, good sounding, long lasting, non-microphonic. The Russian 6Н3П-ДР and 6Н3П-ЕВ are nice, not as good as 5670W, but dang close. I completely skip NOS 6922/6Н23П whenever possible, I find the prices are generally stupid... and I don't like stupid prices when I've a habit of buying lots of 50-200 tubes. :)

FayneYes I agree the prices are ridiculous. I was luckily to buy two of the russian tubes on black friday for $40! They do sound great though, especially with the highs
