Replacement stabilizers for Alt Keyboard

more_vert
Y'all -- I've found Zilent 65g with doubleshot pbt keycaps just about perfect -- except the backspace and enter keys. I think the problem with these is the stabilizers that come on the Alt by default. Are these replaceable? If so, with what, and how? /r

Sorry to beat a dead horse. For Drop Alt, would any stabalizers do as long as they're plate mounted? I was looking at these as candykeys advised they are suitable: https://candykeys.com/product/jwk-plate-mount-stabiliser-pack

I used these and clipped/lubed them, and they work perfectly. No more rattling or pinging sounds. Here is a video on how to remove the old ones, and here is a video on how to clip, lube, and assemble the stabilizers. I also recommend getting some super lube from Switchtop as well for the housing of the stabs, and also using dialectric grease for the wire portion of the stabilizer. All of this in turn leads to a much better typing experience overall.

It seems like any Cherry-style plate mount stabilizer should work, correct? Any thoughts on a really good set?
riw777You are correct. But I think your problem is the keycaps, not the stabilizers. Longer PBT caps can warp. Can you show a picture of the caps on a flat surface? Are the keycaps made for Cherry MX?
