Is it possible to send multiple keystrokes with a single keypress?

more_vert
I'd like to be able send an em- or en- dash into any application using a single keystroke on Windows 10. Since there's no "key" for this, it seems like it would be easiest to send something like ALT+151 as a single keystroke (say, assigned to a separate layer or something), but it doesn't seem like you can set the ALT configurator to do this sort of thing? I'm assuming this is a limitation of the hardware on the keyboard itself, but was wondering if there might be any way around this? /r
