Phoebe_Pwow Klaatu glad to see somebody else remembers/rates them. Did you know they were once touted to be the Beatles reformed? I like eclectic nothing like variety. My fave Eno album is Here Come The Warm Jets.

wokka11wokkaYes, actually the story about Klaatu's rise to fame due to Steve Smith's article in the Providence Journal was my introduction to the band. At my old job, we used to do a kind of music exchange and one of my coworkers was very involved in the local music scene here in RI, and she introduced me to Klaatu's 3:47 EST, along with the story, in the late 90s. The story itself was interesting, but the album really is fantastic. Here Come The Warm Jets is also one of my favorites of Eno's. Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy is also up there. But, I tend to listen to his ambient stuff more frequently than his glam rock-ish stuff.
