I recommend just covering the floor of the tent and not the vestibules. That's lighter and avoid risk that the groundsheet creeps out from under the fly and collections. Below are the dimensions you need. Both ends are the same (aside from being a mirror image).

dandurstonI came to the FAQ just for the answer to this question. 87x28. I am not sure if I want to do a ground sheet but if I did I would be cutting a tyvek sheet for this purpose. So happy I got this last year when it was in stock. Definitely keeping an eye on the 2p version.

exacutI don't use one. With reasonable care the tent will last a very long time without. But if you want to keep the floor clean, or camp on harsher surfaces like gravel, or don't want to check your campsites for sharp sticks and rocks, then it can be a good idea.
