I had two Tudor; a Black Bay with red bezel and ETA movement, (first generation) and a Black Bay Heritage 41. I sold both, put the money aside, and I was able to pick this beauty up. This is the Tudor Black Bay 58; it is the best Tudor diver in my opinion, with the sweetest size (39 mm) and the best "vintage" look, a vibe straight out of a 60's James Bond movie; I certainly don't regret selling the two others that I had come to find too bulky, due to changing tastes.

As a Tudor BB owner myself, I think you made a solid choice. The thickness of the case is probably my biggest pet peeve of that watch. I Also like the new color scheme. Well done sir

it seems that is often how we figure out which pieces really mean something to us. Kudos for finding the ones that speak to you and enjoy them 👍🏻

LT.MitchIt doesn't mean that I don't admire other watches, and that I don't get tempted to buy more! But it's easier to reign in my watch lust, as my itch has been scratched a few times during those 20 years, and I'm content with my small collection. Perhaps I'll buy something else down the road, but I won't be building a big collection anymore. Not pictured (but you can find it in my past posts) is a Grand Seiko GMT Quartz that I use for traveling (well, when traveling for work was something, before the Great Pandemic of 2020). (I also have two Casio G-Shock All-Metal, which are my "for fun" watches. I don't consider them in my "permanent collection" even if, in reality, they are quite expensive on their own, for G-Shock watches).

One of the hottest models on the market right now. Congrats, I think you got what is going to be a lot of peoples grail watch for the foreseeable future.

TwentySixAndThanks for the kind words. I was lucky (for a change) to get this. In fact, I had my name on a waiting list at my "main" AD, who never bothered to ever call me back for one in two years, I suspect they always gave them to higher spending clients. I placed a random call to another AD I sometimes go to, and they had just gotten one in the door literally minutes before my call; the sales lady (she had sold me an Oyster Perpetual some months ago) decided to put it aside for me even if other buyers were in the waiting list and should logically have had a go at it first. I had been nice to her in person during my visits and on the phone, so she decided to be nice to me.
