I dont know if this particular pair has a significant fanbase or not, but this was the cheapest open back headphone that I every got to use and they sounded super amazing compared to the price.
They used to be THE sub 20$ on-ear open-back headphones.
the pads were uselessly soft that it was very painful to keep them on the ear for even half an hour.
But still, they sounded so great that the padding issue wasn't enough to give up them.
So how about bringing them back with the help of DROP along with better padding and a bit improved bass response.
I'm curious how many people here have turntables (that aren't neglected in the garage or attic). There are a lot of great things that I'd love to see drop here specifically for turntables. Record clamps/weights, phono preamps, cleaning supplies, etc. There are so many accessories. Having a turntable show up from time to time would be pretty cool too.
Obviously if nobody is really interested in turntables here there isn't much point trying to find some cool stuff to drop.
With the new THX AAA One amp having pre-amp output I have an interest in maybe seeing in the future having a Drop Studio Mono Power Amplifier for passive speakers. I have been eyeing some sony SS-CS5s and a Sony SA-CS9 with a miniDSP. The problem is I still have to spend buckets more on power amps for the two speakers. I want a mono block for each channel but the only mono blocks that exist in a decent price are car blocks. Schiit has their Vidar/Aegir power amps that can be used as mono blocks. Something similar to that concept would be cool. Even cooler if you could some how find a way to fit THX AAA tech into it.
As for the phono amplifier. I am just curious if there could be a way to get an RIAA Phono stage amp. In an ideal world I would like THX tech with the ability to support MM and MC cartridges. I do not see this as a huge possibility so if I were to focus on anything it would me MM cartridges and seeing if you can squeeze THX tech in there.
Just kind of...
I payed 45 dollars for one day shipping on the 16th and my package is set to be delivered on the 21st, I have read other forum posts recently of people saying they are not receiving items or response from drop. I got a refund for the shipping, and 10 dollar credit (thank you drop) I would just choose the free shipping for now even if you need a package ASAP.
Every second breath we take is created by the seas.
For this second year straight, Big league Football is teaming up with adidas and also Parley for the Oceans to commemorate Planet Day with scandal sheet environment-friendly packages. Last season, four MLS clubs[vigo county youth soccer] put on the packages that are made from upcycled aquatic plastic intercepted by Parley sea clean-up operations in the Maldives.
Atlanta United will participate the activity this season with a black kit with white accents. The package will certainly be put on when the 5 Stripes travel to handle the LA Galaxy on April 21. Each kit takes 20 plastic containers out of the sea to manufacture.
" Every second breath we take is created by the seas. As well as still, we are at battle with the sea," stated Cyrill Gutsch, founder of Parley for the Oceans, in a statement. "Currently is the time to work out peace with our life support as well as to design our way out of this mess. Soccer[link] can lead the way. It shows what we can attain with the best balance...
