I accidently spilled water on my Drop Alt last night. I quickly unplugged it and shook out/dabbed as much water as I could. I then took a blow dryer and blasted it for a good minute and then left it over night to dry.
As of now it seems to have no issues and all LED's work fine.
I did however notice that when I unplug and then re-plug it back in that there is a little orange light that flashes on the front LED strip. From, what i'v read this means that there's a connectivity error? Could this be from the spill? Everything is working fine so I'm not sure where the connectivity issue is coming from? Maybe it's always been there and I'm just seeing it now...
This is my second buy from this store, I dont want It to be the last one.
"Correos" Spain (local post service in Spain) has received this pbt keycaps from drop WITHOUT SHIPPING ADDRESS!
I have like 5 phone calls with them, they cannot redirect a package just if I say yo them, they told me DROP has to do It, i must Contact them.
Well look at this.
First one is DROP's answer to my request.
Third and fourth one are tracking numbers from "Correos", first one was my first buy, its ok, good shipping address, fourth photo is my problem, THEY HAVE NO SHIPPING INFO and they cant deliver It to me
What can I do nos?
Who I have to call to redirect this??
Im really frustrated.
After swapping some switches, it's time to test to see if everything still works. Obviously there are many little programs and web pages that will do that for you, but... I decided to make my own:
Keyboard, keymap and key rollover tester
Simply press keys to test them You can also do some key rollover testing and the tool tries to figure out your keyboard layout.
Hope you guys find it useful!
I've been having big issues with my order. My parcel has been stuck in the same place for a month now. I contacted the shipping company (DHL) and they told me to contact Drop so they can open an investigation and solve the issue. I wrote them emails and they never responded. What should I do? I'm getting pissed.
I've been wanting to get a Numpad that I could put away when not in use, but I couldn't find any that would look good in my setup. Would there a possibility that DROP would make a separate Numpad with the same styling as the DROP keyboards (both normal and high profile).
