Wrist Check

Possibly the best all-around Seiko I have, the SRP777 "Turtle" (shown here with a Strapcode Oyster bracelet, rather than the black OEM silicon strap), offers everything one really needs in a watch: a virtually bullet-proof automatic movement (with day/date complications, with winding and hacking), all wrapped up in a chunky, but very comfortable stainless stainless "pillow" case. For price, function, and value, it's tough to beat! Oh yes--forgot to mention it's also a real-deal "Diver's 200M" watch (says so right on the dial ;- )

All of my turtles are on Strapcode bracelets upset one that’s on a OEM Seiko bracelet. The Strapcode bracelets taper down from 22mm to 20mm the Seiko is 22mm. The tapered bracelets makes turtles look a little less bulkier on my wrist

I'd be lying if told you that was true! I do have some nicer bodies and lenses but I tend to use them on those rare occasions where I'm traveling someplace special (Canadian Rockies, Yukon Territory, Alaska--any of the National Parks I've visited here in the states). For the "stuff on my desk" shots (which generally include the watch shots I post), I'm often just shoot'n with an iPhone8. If they look better than average, it's because I edit everything in Lightroom first. There's a link on my bio page to my Flickr site. If you go there (and roll back past all the watch shots I've recently posted there), you'll eventually begin to see my better stuff (lots of travel and landscape work) where I got the opportunity to shoot some amazing scenery (lots of it during several trips over the Alaska Highway and back) and where I always use my best equipment.
