KEF LS50 Wireless, the ultimate all in one solution?

more_vert
I am contemplating buying the KEF LS50 Wireless speakers but wondering if there is any other worthwhile alternatives available. Considering a pair will cost me around $2k, I want to explore other options around that price range.
Anyone have experience with the KEFs?

I haven't heard the wireless, but have listened to the passive LS50s and they sound very musical while still being detailed. I liked them quite a bit.
The wireless have been getting rave reviews, and if assuming the LS50 Wireless have a similar sound signature to the passive ones I don't think you can go wrong. If you're looking for an all in one, just add source, solution I think it's a no brainer. Just my two cents.
You might be familiar with this site, but search for the LS50 Wireless on www.darko.audio. The LS50 Wireless were his 2016 Product of the Year. https://darko.audio/2016/12/kef-ls50-wireless-review-dars-product-of-the-year-2016/

boMDI could not control the urge and went ahead and ordered a pair from a eBay seller. After going through 100s of youTube videos, I feel the sound signature should be what I seek. I am intending to use digital signal (USB) from my Macbook pro running Audirvana Plus. I have Tidal streaming enabled on Tidal and love the sound quality. I also have a Squeezebox touch streamer which is not getting much use nowadays. I might bring it back to use.
Now, I am shopping for some good speaker stands which can support the 22lbs load.

viveksaikia22Sounds like you’ll be all setup. I have a Tidal HiFi subscription too and love the sound quality also. Congrats on the purchase and happy listening!
