TKL- RGB floating switch design Cherry Switches

more_vert
All I want is a keyboard that is TKL (or smaller) with RGB lighting and a floating key design using cherry MX switches (blue or brown). Thus far every keyboard that gets close ends up with dog durd mc shit switches from China.
Can anyone offer any hope? According to Corsair no one would want such a thing, so the K65 RGB will only ever be offered with Red (or worse) switches.

I know you say you aren't interested in the non-Cherry switches, but I bought a Razer Blackwidow X TE Chroma board and I love the green razor switches they put on it. They feel almost exactly like Cherry Blues. They are very stable, which seems to be the downfall of all the other "inferior" switch brands IMO. The only difference is that they feel like they take less pressure to depress but just a tiny bit more to actuate the click part.
I'm with you on the other type of switches. I hear people saying they don't notice the difference in quality. I'm here to tell you I do and that Razer makes a solid switch.

I did sign up. You are awesome! The Keyboard looks like my exact DREAM. But. That caveat about switch manufacturers kind of makes me sick to my stomach... That's usually the preamble to gateron, kailh or worse.

Nah, i'm just helpfull. Input Club is awesome for providing mks hardly seen anywhere else, brainstorming, experimenting for years for the final mk, and i've trust they won't provide anything they don't like for themselves, and those guys know what they're doing being enthusiasts themselves, too.
Maybe there is an option for a diy kit, soldering any switch you prefer, who knows.
