So what drop doesn’t care?

Last year I purchased one of the retractable copper utility knife and love it but have been dreading replacing the blade because I know throughout the community a lot of people have been having issues with them. Well the day finally came and I was gonna replace the blade and come to find the slide screw is not only stripped before I get to it but also cranked way too much to get out by means of a simple bit kit...so I contacted drop by what means I knew how and granted I now know I didn’t select the right option but still to just tell me sorry to hear you wasted money guess you have to buy another one that just hurts. And I know the warranty timeframe is trash because I have one of their brass flashlights and a amazing customer service rep was happy to replace it after the action button stopped working and that thing was well past the 30 day limit by a year and a half.

Hi @ThatGuyZack We're sorry to hear about your experience trying to replace the blade. Although the warranty timeframe is a bit limited, we do offer free USA returns within 30 days and a one year Drop warranty. We also don't want anyone to run into any issues when replacing the blade, so that's why we include instructions for safe blade changing.
