Today’s Wrist-Check is my new Casio GA-2110SU-3AJF. It’s 1 of 3 Casio’s watches I just purchased.

About two years ago a co-worker and I were talking about beater watches. During the conversation I realized that outside of a few analog watches that linger at the bottom of my watch collection I really didn’t own a beater. I decided I needed to add a fun beater watch to my collection. I settled on the Casio GA-2110SU-3AJF. I originally wanted the black version with white hour markers but that one proved to be hard to find at a fair price. My 3AJF OD green version was about $110 with free shipping and ended up being the better choice. But that wasn’t enough - I also picked up a DW5610SU as a tribute to a few of my earlier G-Shocks which I let go of many years ago. And finally the CA-53W, a calculator watch similar to what I remember wanting desperately but never owned from the mid 80’s rounded out the trio.  The resin straps on the 2120SU and 5610SU were replaced with cheap metal bracelets that will most likely fall apart under heavy use. The CA-53W got a replacement resin strap in black. I’m happy with the green and black look that I put together and will rotate through thIs trio regularly as I work around the house, backyard, or in the garage.

Not the world’s biggest G-Shock guy, myself, but I like that one. Nice shots too!

RayFYears ago I felt that regardless of color and features most digital G-Shock watches all looked the same to me. But recently I’ve come to love all of the analog choices that Casio is producing with their G-Shock line.

WayneWDI wish, but nope....it’s just cheap metal. It’s also kinda noisy (rattles a bit), but it’s comfortable.
