HeadPhones for ~ 200$ ?

more_vert
Hi
Hello! First of all, sorry for bad English, will try my best ^^'
I have been saving money for a while cause I never bought a decent pair of headphone, and I really need ones.
I have been looking for different designs because I'm not an expert at all, and I think I'm looking for closed design headphones because I don't really like what ppl say about them in some video comments ( missing sound, other people can hear your music... ) and also I would like to be able to differentiate all the instrument with high precision.
Desing means nothing to me, I just want to expend those 200$ in sound quality.
I am really new into this so, any tips/ recommendations are appreciated. Love u!

The Sennheiser x Massdrop HD6XX and HD58X Jubilees are amazing and they go sale frequently

yeah just as @Jesse0403 already said, the DT-770's are great for music of any genre. They are relatively cheap as well

First: You should reconsider buying open-back headphones. Most people say they have a wider soundstage and I can agree with that. The obvious choice here would be the Sennheiser x Massdrop HD6XX for 200$. You will have to wait for another drop if you want to get them new and you will most likely need an DAC/Amp to get the most out of them. Generally saying open-back headphones are only a real option if you will only listen to them at home. Second: The best 200$ option for closed-back are the Beyerdynamic DT770 for me but many people will disagree with me here. Alternatively you could consider the DT880, they are a mix between open-back and closed-back.

I forgot to say: I would like to use them in close spaces (not outside) so I'm not really worried about noise cancellation
