Do you need a Superman ears to feel the difference between balanced and unbalance...or you can feel it right away for a normal human being and normal hearing capabilities? 😕

Blue78Depends on your source material. For example if you have a hi-res recording of an orchestral piece that was properly mastered, balanced would be noticeably different as it would be easier to hear the instruments positioning.

Blue78You don't need superman ears, but it is a subtle difference. If you expect a dramatic change in sound, you will be underwhelmed : )

Blue78Yup what these guys say is correct. Don't expect massive changes, but if you have a good DAC/AMP, even with 320kbps MP3, you'll notice a slight difference provided that your headphones/earphones are good as well. Using the cavalli liquid carbon amplifier, switching from unbalanced to balanced on my noble K10's was immediately noticeable on tracks that I always listen to and that I use for reference to make it easier for comparison. Sound stage was abit larger, noise floor was cleaner, 3D positioning when listening to instrumentals was alot more precise as well. HOWEVER, switching over to a pair of IEMs that I didn't listen to often and on music that I didn't listen to on a regular basis, the difference was not as noticeable. If you don't have something that you're used to listening to in order to compare, then you're really not going to notice a difference. But it was worth it for me, most sources that I used balanced for sound noticeably (albeit not significantly) better.

Blue78They will sound a tad better, but you will notice it more if you are a pro.
