I started quilting years ago and have since had several converts to quilting. I usually start folks on a pillow top, simple table runner or a strip scenery quilt ( e.g. A farm, garden or pastoral scene). The beginning projects are fast and easy to get them hooked on quilting quickly. Personally, I love the Missouri Star Quilt https://www.missouriquiltco.com tutorials available through the MSQ app https://quiltingtutorials.com/?_ga=2.191516140.754725071.1522013891-827949451.1488986027. Jenny has great tips to make beautiful quilts quickly. Right now I would rather have lots of quilts that go together quickly than to have one quilt that, although beautiful, takes a long time to put together. One day, I will have time for a detailed quilt but right now, I’m focused on leaving a legacy of many beautiful, fast quilts!
