BlueCrownedIt was a Gold bag treat from Keyforge. Afaik, it is a one of a kind. I have never heard of or seen any others in this colorway. It was the first appearance of Snek. There has since been an Alps version released in another colorway and another colorway in MX. But this is a special one of a kind.

BlueCrownedhaving looked at keyforge for a bit, it appears they have previously sold other versions of the snake. I am going to wait for Friday and see if there is any good deals on cool caps.

JustFluxzAs of time of my comment. There was only this color way in the TMX and the Alps in a starfield. Alps is not compatible with normal switches. Just as I said above. Now there are 6 more colorways in the flash sale fridays. Not that I called you a liar, HAHA, but you didn't read what I wrote.

BlueCrownedThere was no sneks before this one. As I stated before, at the time of writing there was only an ALPS starfield snek. Now, with flash sale fridays, there are 6 more colorways.. When I got my snek, literally no other colorways were available. That is why I mentioned that it came from keyforge. Keyforge will do plenty of colorways in snek, but like all keys unless they are fulfillment keys, there will be a very limited number of them. They aren't group buys, just small batches.

JustFluxzWow... Congratulations. You took the information and did the research. I laid it out for you. Good luck though getting them. You need to check every friday on flash sales. Which means you need to F5 the heck outta the page until the flash sale pops up. You typically will have less than a minute to get your information in.
As I said before, my key came from Fulfillment, in a gold bag. It was free to me for having bought 3 fulfillment keys. As of the time of the original comment, there was only starfield in ALPS switch type. Yes, there are now more colorways, but they came later.. Several months later. I bought my fulfillment keys end of january or early feburary. Just clarifying, since you came off either snooty or as if I was lying.

WikkiNah, I was doing research for myself and figured I'd try to help others if they wanted to find it as well. The artist also stated that he is willing to make older keycaps but would be at custom keycap rates in which he said is usually at least $500.
In regards to joining the sale. I just try to join the Salt sale which actually was RNG and allowed for a few hours for people to enter to be picked to purchase a keycap, but in regards to the Friday sale, I am assuming it is first come first serve?

Yes, he will do custom keys at a premium price... But unless you have a desire to burn through your wallet, most people don't/won't pay 500+ for a single key. It's art. That is why the price goes crazy.
If you want the research, which is partly why I gave the name Keyforge in the original message, you can go to geekhack dot com. It is now owned or will be owned by massdrop anyways. It is a site dedicated to keyboards and keycap artisan makers. All the big names are there. They often have their stuff announced there before anywhere else. Unless it is a slack or discord sale only. Many/most of the artists also have their own instagram, but you can find those on their main thread on geekhack. Seriously. That is really all the research you need to know.

Hi, is it possible to use the case with a different plate? I don't understand if the plate is separated from the case or not.
I use a DZ60 with a HHKB-style layout but with a 3-keys split-spacebar instead of a normal spacebar. I'd want to use the case but obviously the plate wouldn't match if they are made as one unit.

*Help* Screw in stabilizers not fitting in Dropshift V2 keyboard
I'm trying to build a mechanical keyboard with screw in stabilizers, I've build some mechanical keyboards with click-in stabilizers, never with screw in. Somehow one of the pins of the metal top-part collides with the screw in stabilizer of the numpad "enter key". I already tried grinding of a bit of the pin that collides with the stabilizer, but unfortunately I can't make it fit/close properly. You can see that the pin of the toppart leaves a mark on the bottompart of the stabilizer, see picture 2. What am I missing? Using Durock V2 in a Dropshift fullsize V2. See pictures below, thanks in advance!

Want to build a Clicky Mech Keyboard. Where to begin?
Hello all. Am brand new to the idea of building my own keyboard. Have not a clue where to begin this process. I am a Sim Game enthusiast. American Truck Sim, DCS Flight Sim and goes from there. Need some real help on where to start for making my own Full Size, Clickey Mechanical KB. I want each key to have its own backlighting. Are there keys that are better than others for this? Is there a great spot on site for a person who has never even taken a keyboard apart? Let alone fixed or built one? I would like it to fit my theme of Red and Black. Yet maybe have the option of changing things up a bit. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all kindly, Durazell
