So I am dabbing my toes into the world beyond point-n-shoot cameras, and currently playing with a Yi M1, and I am considering a prime lens. I am looking for suggestions for a AF prime that I can use for landscape and milky way type of photos (I play outdoors a ton, and sitting at camp at night has me yearning to take some night sky snaps). I do shoot some video too, but getting stabilization is likely asking too much.
I currently have the older version of the 14-140 Panasonic lens and the kit 12-40 F3.5 lens I got with camera. The AF on the Yi is a little wonky, but it does work on the Panasonic lens.
Ideally I would like spend less than 200 clams, but I am also looking for something good enough lens that will carry over to future upgraded body.
I do see wally world has the Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 ASPH for $210. I believe this lens has infinity manual focus.
