Can I put rotary encoder on this?

Yes! The left side of the board has positions for a Rotary Encoder. You can solder one in in either of the four positions. (Or all, but you can only have one programmed function active at a time, not make each RE do something different.)

Haven't used them myself yet, but from what I can see in the documentation, you can pretty much assign any key to its clockwise, counter-clockwise and if present, push action. In QMK at least. (Planck has no VIA support due to having a different MCU.) Update: I see other boards with (nearly) the same chip showing up in VIA. @jackhumbert, Planck/Preonic VIA when? :P

MinaDarshIf you can compile a json file all the info you would need would be on github. Via and Vial like everything compiled differently in the programing files. I do not believe it is a microprocessor problem.
