High resolution digital song (downloads)

If the title caught your attention, then you must already be buying Hi-res digital songs (48khz - 24 bit upwards, or what is generally accepted as high-res on online stores). I am from India, and I am struggling to find high-resolution songs, legally on the internet. I am not interested in streaming hi-res songs (for which too, there is no availability in India). The only options are HDTracks, etc, which only sell albums. I have to spend more than 20 to 30 $ for a few songs. It is just not scalable - To buy 10 songs, I might have to buy 5 albums, costing 100 to 150$. One site that sells singles, 7Digital, has no presence in most countries outside of Europe and USA. This is probably a third world problem, but I am trying to find out if hi-res songs are sold on a site like Drop or other website, would you be willing to buy them at all? I don't know Drop's strategy and business interests, but is it a far-fetched idea - that ppl who buy audiophile gear also buy songs with high fidelity. Would it not help the audiophile community if such an option is available for music lovers across the world? As it is, many of us outside US (no offense meant, this is a genuine issue for many of us) find it challenging to buy importable headphones, amps and DACs, with exorbitant customs and taxes. But when I see a virtual wall for buying songs on the internet too, I feel very disappointed with the lack of choice. I know I can download songs and convert them to WAV/FLAC formats, but I dont trust the quality, and it is tedious. Moreover, I prefer to buy legally. If the community can suggest options or ideas, I would be glad and grateful to you.

I think in the end analysis, it will be streaming in high resolution for ninety-something percent of the market. Get on a group “family” plan and you can prevent streaming conflicts in heavy use, by downloading the music that you do most commonly listen to, locally. Not third world, live in NY, doi’n Amazon UHD, for off-line use Tidal still allows down loaded play. Beyond that, for your music that — you will listen to forever — (beyond the life of a streaming service;) using the time between planning how you may setup things a little differently, to emphasize the Oboe solo, say,, or you just want some bass slam,, go and get a FLAC 24/192 & DSD 5.6 from a reputable source {very important} where you have the source and master known; such as Acoustic Sounds: https://store.acousticsounds.com/cat/365/Digital_Download

Thanks. I am sure there are some hidden gems here. I stumbled upon Bhopal's Flowers in bandcamp. They have done a cover on 'I feel free' by Cream, and originals that are so good. https://bhopalsflowers.bandcamp.com/

Thanks, Clapton is one of the best and they keep him alive in that rendition of a great song. I saw Clapton live once back in '75' , favorite new(er) stuff is Eric with the late B.B. King: https://store.acousticsounds.com/d/105177/Eric_Clapton__BB_King-Riding_With_The_King-FLAC_88kHz24bit_Download
