Got it. Seems like that's a good DAC, with option of balanced output. What's weird is the DX3 Pro is $30 more, is also an amp but isn't balanced. Would it be a better DAC for SE performance? That might be a good option since it has bluetooth and I could grab it to plug into my receiver if I'm in the living room as on its own it would drive some headphones. Downside is I wouldn't be exposed to trying balanced. Hmmmmmm.
Gut response is to go for the DX3 Pro then, if I'm enjoying this hobby upgrade at a later date to a DX7s or something. Given the existence of the DX3 Pro, I kind of don't see the point in the D50s.
Am I on the right track here do you reckon?
