I think that the concept of human headphones was a great idea but theyre performance was worse than a normal pair of headphones. So there should be a massdrop edition that fixes the issues that the original had and make it a little cheaper. The idea would get traction because I mean true wireless bluetooth headphones. And the price of the human headphones was a little pricy for some so it would be a great concept to start making.
It had to happen. I auditioned the Romanian built Meze 99 Neo and definitely fell I love. They are extremely comfortable although I actually really do enjoy the suspension headband. I feel like the headphones just "float" on my head so I forget I have them on. This offering from Drop is actually great deal too. The Meze 99 Classics are $309, while the Neo are $199. Same price as the Drop Noir. The sound is satisfyingly true to the design. These are beautifully crafted, Walnut closed back headphones. I love the black all metal hardware much more than the gold on the Classics. The chrome on the Neo is ok, but this understated black with dark walnut is impeccable. I should note they were just purchased and available, so they will arrive in 2 business days for a transport fee $5. The Neo went back to the store and $200 was credited. I cannot emphasize enough. You get what you pay for. The only exception in life where I have seen otherwise is with...headphones. There ar some strikingly...
Anyone else have issues with shipping/customer service?
Bought a pair of the Sennheiser HD 6XX headphones that were supposed to be here Wednesday, and was really looking forward to them. I had been watching the shipping progress on FedEx and finally saw they were delivered Wednesday, only to walk outside and find nothing.
After 4 attempts calling them I'm able to get ahold of FedEx support and they just outright tell me "we won't help you" and "only the shipper can open an investigation." So after contacting Drop I get the same canned email response 3 times that they won't even bother to contact FedEx to look into this for 3 days. They also told me to contact the Post Office for some reason? Not sure if they use one of those joint shipping arrangements, but FedEx said that it was their truck that delivered the package so I doubt USPS had anything to do with it.
Anyways rant over, just wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similarly poor experience with dealing with FedEx/Drop's support teams? I had been planning on buying another pair...
So I'm still pretty new to stuff like this. But I was recently thinking about getting a set of speakers and an amp for it. I wanted to get the Sennheiser HD 6xx and I was just curious what type of amp and speakers anyone could recommend. My budget is probably around 700 for all of that. I don't need anything too fancy but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
