Not the cutest thing in the room, but very effectively repurposed, to sate a driving need. Factoid, clean room dust is one of the worst for electronics. It’s “refined” to contain more conductive, often metallic and of course semi-metallic junk. These things perform self-immolation with dust, be careful when construction happens. Great re-purpose feyded1020;) drop, an anti-static display dome? For when the baby Orpheus is due??

rastusI literally laughed when I read 'These things will perform self-immolation with dust'. I kept reading about that with the fact that the Koss isnt dust sealed as opposed to Stax. I figured the ESD bag was the next best, cheapest thing to do instead of buying the Stax bag they sale. I will agree, it is far from an attractive option though to use a big shiny silver bag.

feyded1020It’s perfect, I have never thrown one of those out, until,, well it almost wasn’t a bag anymore:( But you would want a true coated ant-static glass or acrylic dome, a pragmatic display, a safe keep; or it would just exacerbate the problem.
