Drop 75% keyboard?

more_vert
Is there any word on if Drop plans on creating a 75% keyboard that has the same features as the Drop Alt and Drop Ctrl? It would be an instant buy for me. Edit: Just thought of the perfect name for it. They could call it the 'Drop Fn' keyboard. Fn obviously being short for function (like the Fn key), and since a 75% would basically just be the Alt with a function row added, it's perfect.

Adding a rudimentary mockup of how it would look like. I think this would be perfect!! As mentioned before, with 5-pin switch support and keep it north facing... yes please!

75% with one extra column on the left (for media keys) would be cool.

No current plans, but this is something we can explore in the future. I'm a fan of 75% layouts myself.

That would be awesome. 75% really is the perfect layout for me. TKL's are just a little too big, but I have a hard time getting by without a dedicated function row, since it's really useful when programming. Most of the people I work with prefer a 75% as well because of the function row. Although none of the 75% keyboards on the market are as feature rich as the Drop Ctrl or Alt.

I will add my desire for this to happen as well. I bought an ALT keyboard. It still hasn't arrived and I am experiencing some remorse because the GMMK Pro is out and after getting keycaps and switches, price is comparable. But I don't care much for the knob and I don't like the south facing switch design. I know it has better compatibility for cherry keycaps, but north facing LEDs are much more convenient for using backlit keycaps which is the point to having the LEDs anyways...And I do love that function row. I still see the ALT and think: "if it just had that extra top row for the Function keys, 5-pin switch and VIA software support, it would be perfect!"
