Should I get a DAC or just a better headphones if I'm looking for a deeper dound?

Dude, you're going to need an amp (and a DAC) to bring out the best in just about any headphones. Depending on your budget, the Dragonfly AMP/DACs portables are a good place to start, with three price points.
