Hi ! I know i'ts a long shot but... would it be possible to specify with Drop which package delivery company to choose or to avoid for international shipping ? I know for a fact that UPS is charging some weird fees and VAT when delivering this product and/or isn't beeing totally clear about it (at least here in France) cheers

Drop just has the one shipping method to Europe. I'm not sure what it is, but I think it's the same as the X-Mid tents which people in Europe have been quite happy with. There is VAT in Europe but the other additional charges are fairly modest. The actual charges likely vary by country, but below is someones charges for the X-Mid 1P, where the charges for the pack would be less since it is a less expensive product. Perhaps about 30 GBP owning in that country.

dandurstonthanks Dan for you response. With a total price of around 161 $ (backpack + shipping) , the product stay under 150€ and acording to our french customs rules, it isn't concerned by customs entry and duty fees (while the x-mid would be) so the delivery company (which appears to be UPS nowadays) should only be charging the VAT (20% - in France - 20 of 161$ = around 32$ / 28€) and maybe an additional booking fees... At the moment, according to two recents testimonies I've read, UPS is asking for around 56€ (63$) of fees, and isn't provind to the customer a proper and detailed bill of the VAT/fees or is annoncing 38€ of VAT , looks like fraud to me. I'm hoping that Drop can contact UPS to do something about it. Cheers

ruben_rybnikSame issue on my side. UPS said Drop.com didn't split the product and shipping cost on the package then UPS is calculating adding an estimated shipping for 52 euros to the total before calculating VAT. Really something Drop should take care of...
