For reference, the rifle (and all furniture) were completely black as purchased.

The lower photo shows the few FDE accessories I was able to purchase locally, and the top photo shows the other bits (including the red dot) I had to wait for due to COVID-19 delayed shipping times. The moral of that story is always plan ahead--one never knows when the next zombie apocalypse will be upon us (although just between you and me, I'm guessing NOVEMBER ;- )

Soliciting folks to commit a felony on your behalf is a violation of MD's terms of use. Or to put it another way, go fuck yourself. Note to @erickong: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Traffic_in_Arms_Regulations

Hehe, even in countries like mine, one can prepare like this.. So a couple of .22's, .308 and a 9mm are stored safely in my vaults...

22 and 9 are fun as heck to shoot. I have a suppressed 300BO and 5.56 myself.

That’s a sweet rig! And that red dot is serious! My Sub2000 (sold my AR’s few years back but may do a pistol build this time) just runs an Aimpoint Patrol Optic Pro Red Dot.

How do you like the PWS buffer tube? I dig the ratcheting lock nut on them, considering one for a build I'm doing for my daughter.

I really like it. It is a bit lighter, but with barely any material sacrifice and has a support lip to make sure cycling is done properly each time. Any buffer tube that weighs less IMO will have to have more aggressive cuts or ruse different materials like carbon fiber or magnesium. There are some design implementations to help with draining water and debris, but that's more of a gimmick as it's a range gun and HD gun.

Is that a AR? I wanted one of them but, I think it’s going to be banned in Canada 👎🏿

It is—and you might be right about a future ban. That’s one of the reasons I decided to buy one—no tell’n how long they’ll be available anywhere!
