CTRL with the /tty MT3 profile caps. Mostly Keebworks Tacit switches with NK Blueberry on the space and shift. Sounds perfect.

BlockhardIt's a YMDK numpad I got off AliExpress (search "21 23 24 Key YMDK Programmable"). It's inexpensive (about $45 without caps) and programmable via a bootloader (not QMK). It works fine. I just picked up a couple KBDFANS KBDMKII numpads that will be a more permanent solution. Nice aluminum cases and brass plates on those. Just sitting here waiting to be soldered with Gateron V2 Ink Blacks.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
