Advice for a relative newbie. I’ve been striking out with the magical combination of comfort, ease-of-use, quality sound, and within budget. Seeking advice on my next move for satisfying headphones. I listen mainly through my MacBook Pro or iPhone. Sennheiser 598 have been pretty good but the MBP 3.5mm jack a on the right whereas the headphones plug in on the left. The cable drives me nuts. I then tried Etymotic E3XR in-ear. Gorgeous clarity but I dislike sticking them deep in my ears. Recently, I tried Sennheiser 550-II wireless. The freedom is just the ticket but the sound was anemic. Is there a good over-ear wireless solution (with big ear cups to accommodate glasses) or should I look for a more liveable wired solution? thanks.
I believe MASSDROP X ALEX CAVALLI TUBE HYBRID AMP was nice step for Drop and tube amps. I wish drop would make another tube amp not just bring back drop cth back. The reason is cth back single tube is not enough as well not enough output and input selection. The next Drop hybrid tube amp should 2-4 tubes and have both rca inputs and balanced xlr inputs as well as rca and balance outputs. Lastly the this Drop hybrid tube amp should have pre rca and balanced xlr outputs. An amp designed like this work nicely with amps/dacs you offer as well leave plenty of Drop dac/amp stack combinations. Thanks again Drop I hope next year we will get more Drop exclusive amp/dac offerings.
Order shipment problem that nobody it caring my support request at Drop
I ordered a headphone 4 weeks ago. Shipment is waiting at Germany to be send to Turkey for 3 weeks. I'm sending customer request forms for help from Drop but it looks like nobody is checking it or not caring, getting no response from Drop. Any idea to get their customer support's attention?
I know it's a dumb question because I know a 3.5mm to a 4.4mm connection takes more hardware than a simple jack to transfer a balanced signal, but has any "balanced" nut out there found a real adapter that actually makes this work?
