Alt keyboard completely dead and bricked

more_vert
I was using my keyboard with no problems for about 6 months. I plugged it in this morning and no LED's came on and it was completely unresponsive. I tried flashing a fresh firmware download but my MacBook pro doesn't even see the device when it's plugged in via a USB-C cable. I tried multiple cables (all of them work with other devices.) Has anyone else had this issue and do you have any suggestions on what I can do?

I have heard a lot of issues with drops alt/ctrl keyboards. Id recommend getting something off KBD/Aliexpress over Drop for reliability. This is like the 20th time I have seen something complaining about connectivity issues with these.

I don't have one of these keyboards, but this old post shows a similar problem w/ the Ctrl keyboard and a MacBook Pro. Maybe it's helpful? https://drop.com/talk/9382/talk/2203934?utm_source=linkshare&referer=7URAHX

Have you tried the included cable? Did you put the keyboard into DFU mode after submitting the flash command?

I think we should try a replacement. Please submit a ticket with Customer Support if you have not already done so to get that process started. Support is backlogged and a response may take some time. Please be patient while you wait for a response.
